CHEER For Life Foundation Board Member Application
We are honored that you are interested in serving as a board member of the CHEER For Life Foundation. This application is the first step in our effort to get to know you, your interest in serving on the board, and the energy / expertise you could bring to furthering our organization's mission and grant-making efforts.
Once received, your application will be reviewed and you can expect to hear from a member of our selection committee within 1–2 weeks. If you are selected to move forward in the process, we will request any additional information that might be required and look to schedule an interview with existing board members during the month of May.
Board members are committed to attending meetings once a month, either in person or via conference call. (Scheduled on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings, respectively.) Board meetings are held in the San Francisco Bay Area when in person. Please review our bylaws for a deeper dive into board responsibilities – and we will also be hosting an open session during our April 21st board meeting for all interested in understanding more about the board process. More details on location and agenda will be shared shortly.

May 31, 2019 – First Round Applications Requested
May/June 2019 – Candidate Interviews (Remote)
July 2019 – New Directors Announced
